Me........

Just a regular person, I love pizza with pepperoni, lucky number 6, my feet get cold easily, I don't like spiders, or being asked "table for 2?" where its plain there are two of us.

I first became interested in photography when I was studying Spatial Design at University, and ran around with my Olympus OM40, always loaded with Ilford Mono film. After Uni, a new career, new home, and shortly after a family meant the camera gear had to go.

Now having more time and with the accessibility of digital, I decided it was time to do something for myself that hopefully will be around long after I'm gone. Photography to me is capturing a moment in time that can never be repeated; about creating a reaction and stirring an emotion. Taking a picture is one thing, but creating an image is demanding, its having an awareness of composition, light, shadow, and the imagination to "see" the final image.

Some images are very graphical, others are very moody and lyrical, some are fun. Whatever they are, I hope you enjoy. Please let me know so I can continue to improve and develop.
