Group Photography Workshop
Max Attendees: 4
Places Available: 2

Meeting Point – Keswick Boat Landings, 10am. Parking charges apply.
After meeting and a short introduction we will walk to the first location.

Crow Park.
At the head of Derwentwater, Crow Park gives views right down the lake, allowing the chance to explore composition using the sunken gate, fences and foreground rocks with Derwent Island and Cat Bells as background. A range of techniques can be used including long exposures at all locations.

Isthmus Bay
Hidden from public view, this small bay has stunning views to explore with plenty of foreground interest, including a stone ‘jetty’.
Keswick Landings
We will walk back to the boat landings to explore using the boats and jetties for compositions. In summer this area gets busy so we may shoot this first.
Friars Crag
We will explore the foreshore along the lake up to Friars Crag.

Lunch Break at the cafe for 45 minutes

Ashness Jetty
A 10 minute drive will take us to Ashness Landing for an iconic wooden jetty image, where we will also explore the old stone Ashness Bridge.

Ullswater
A 30 minute drive will then take us to Ullswater where there are ample places to shoot. As well as the Duke Of Portland Boathouse, Aira Force waterfall, and plenty of small bays, there are stunning views over the lake to shoot. We will shoot sunset here before returning to your cars in Keswick.
